You'll oversee quality control for roofing and construction projects, enforce safety protocols, and drive adherence to industry standards. This dynamic role offers the chance to work directly on job sites, assess project quality, and collaborate with teams to implement continuous improvement strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct Detailed Inspections: Carry out thorough evaluations on active and completed roofing, construction, and paving projects, focusing on workmanship, materials, and safety. Attend preconstruction meetings to fully understand project specifications and quality expectations. Identify any potential issues and recommend corrective actions for the team.
• Ensure Compliance with Standards and Safety Protocols: Uphold company quality standards, safety procedures, and industry regulations by working closely with project managers and on-site teams to maintain top-notch quality throughout each project phase.
• Deliver Insightful Reports and Recommendations: Frequently travel to job sites, assess project quality, and create comprehensive inspection reports, including roof walk reviews. Collaborate with leadership and the Quality Assurance team to implement improvements based on your findings and suggestions.
• Stay Informed on Industry Standards: Regularly update your knowledge of the latest industry standards and certifications relevant to roofing and construction quality.

What You’ll Bring

• Expertise in Quality Management: Five or more years of experience in quality control or a related field, with a strong knowledge of safety protocols for construction and roofing projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inspection software.
• Attention to Detail & Problem-Solving: Ability to recognize quality issues, provide actionable recommendations, and maintain high accuracy in your assessments.
• Strong Communication and Teamwork: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments and the ability to convey inspection results to teams and leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five years of related experience in quality management
• Ability to work independently with frequent travel to job sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality control management, project management, or a related field
• Certifications in quality assurance, construction, or roofing systems
• Prior experience in project management or site supervision

Special Requirements

• Must pass background, drug, and motor vehicle checks
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and access confined spaces
